This plant has heart shaped leaves and produces white flowers in March-May. It will grow well in boggy ground and pond or stream margins in sun to part shade.
This barred horsetail is a pretty member of the horsetail family with fleshy evergreen stems with black rings. It is attractive addition to the boggy edges and shallows pond margins. Adds winter interest.
